Definitely nice for a sauna book, I would think! Slow pace, easy read in my opinion.

It is a day of our young protagonist (presumably) after she changed to the school in T市. She has an appointment with a friend, Shouko, to watch birds, but that friend oversleeps, so they change their plans to going to an exhibition and buying an art book.
Further spoiler
On their way, they meet a classmate and change their plans yet again to deliver a sports uniform to his brother, who needs it for a sports match.
I will not spoil here how it ends just in case you want to read it sometime.

Oh, I found my edition:
It had three short stories, apparently: ブラッキーの話, 冬の午後, and かまどに小枝を. Now that I read those titles, I somewhat remember the first two, but the third one comes back as completely blank.

I finished 私、死体と結婚します yesterday and put it as my ‘Added to Natively by Me’ square. It was fine, definitely not as exciting as I’d hoped given the title. I think I should have another book crossed off before the end of the week, but still no bingo

I’m currently working on とんがり帽子のアトリエ Vol. 2 (L27) but otherwise my “currently reading” tab is fairly empty for the first time in a few months. Time to look for new categories to start ^^

While, work has been brutal recently, so I barely have the strength to come to the forum (and I haven’t read anything in a week because I feel like, if I have time to read, I should read work-related stuff

Well, anyway. Again, I don’t want to clog my bingo with a single series, so I will only use the last published volume TRPGプレイヤーが異世界で最強ビルドを目指す 9 下 ~ヘンダーソン氏の福音を~ | L40 to mark “finish a series”.
At first, I wanted to just keep going with the なろう version online to truly mark it finished, but the story is different 
Credit where its due, the author noticed some plot holes and decided to fix them… which led to a completely divergent story. He noted in the last volume that, at this point, 95% of the content was completely original. The online version is then no more than an alternate “what if” story.
I kinda wonder how the publishing company is taking it. The writing makes publication way slower, and it’s not even the story they signed up to publish originally… I guess they don’t mind as long as it sells?
I have a lot of opinions about that series and I would have probably written extensively about them in the “reading” thread, but what I wrote so far has already drained me. I guess I would just say that the author is trying to have a bunch of women as main cast/love interests in a way that doesn’t feel sexist or incel-y (good!) but he isn’t very good at writing women to begin with (sad). Bonus points for making the main character hot with a personality that makes it reasonable for him to get all the girls. I mean, he would get me if I was one of the girls

It’s been a while, work is as tiring as ever. I finally finished コンビニ人間 and decided to put it in “set in a workplace” instead of “won an award” because the former was harder to fill haha.
I’m on volume 5 of 9 for the DIgimon manga and intend to focus on finishing it and Adabana (“Book club”…I am so behind) this weekend. Fingers crossed I finish both by Monday.
I had started both 転スラ volume 1 and 本好き volume 2, but decided to focus on 転スラ for variety after I finish Adabana since P5V10 in English just dropped for Bookworm. There’s still 7.5 months left in the challenge, so fingers crossed I can finish the rest of the books by EOY. It’ll be a real challenge for me to have that many books in my docket but I’m still gunning for black out bingo <3

- Slam Dunk 1 - “Award winner” and I started an informal club on WK as I’m totally reading the whole thing!
- ふしぎ駄菓子屋 銭天堂 1 - “Book Club” which I throughly enjoyed and I’ll definitely continue this series

I finished this some time ago, but I’ve been traveling so couldn’t update my card. ユー。 ジャニーズの性加害を告発して | L34?? was my ‘one volume in one day’ book as a very short and pretty quick read. I wrote a review so won’t repeat myself here, but I’ll note that it’s nonfiction and deals with sexual abuse of minors so be mindful if that’s something which would bother you to read about.

- Unread in my BookWalker Shelf: 気になってる人が男じゃなかった Vol. 2 (L23)
- Lowest Level on TBR List: ハピネス Vol. 1 (L17)
- Same Genre as Another Square: とんがり帽子のアトリエ Vol. 2 (L26)
Both 気になってる人 and ハピネス were one-day reads - it’s very exciting to be able to say that since it’s a sign that my reading speed has been secretly increasing. When I read the first volume of 気になってる人 last October it took me just over two days, which felt extremely fast at the time, too. It’s a nice feeling to stumble across signs of improvement. The second volume of Atelier took me a little longer, though by the end I was reading over a chapter per day. Definitely moving onto the next volume asap ^^
