I actually hadn’t heard of it prior to seeing folks on natively updating their watching status with it, haha.

It was released in 2024 but I only came to watch it last year and I absolutely loved it.

I just finished this a few weeks ago and it was cute (and had an older lead in it, which is always nice for a change):
I also liked this one a lot, but I also binge watched a bunch of dramas in December so I’m not so great at keeping what exactly happened in which one apart. I rated it 5 stars though, so I quite liked it:
This was another one that I watched and gave 4 stars to. It’s 2023, so just barely “in the last year or two”

I have no memory of that title, but the plot sounds insanely familiar. I think I watched some of the drama with a friend (who’s really into BL) back in 2009 or 2010, but never read the manga.
Yeah, that one was probably how I first heard of BL, but I never watched it or read it either interestingly (it is in my TBR, though).
The first direct experience I had with BL was watching 純情ロマンチカ with a friend back in the days (I don’t want to know how they did it, but we were watching basically alongside release with subs; I don’t think it was legal, but not much choice at the time 
)

I just finished binging 40までにしたい10のこと S1 | L26 and excited to start a new series (though how to decide? so much lovely BL content to consume!!!)
It was one of the earliest shoujo titles from VIZ in the early 00s, before they started publishing the Shojo Beat magazine (which I miss terribly, I love physical manga magazines…). I saw the Korean drama adaption which was so, so bad (haven’t watched the Japanese live action, though).
