I was also considering nominating that one as well, but decided against it, since I think a lot of people here read it already?
That being said, I have read トラップヒロイン 1 | L21 but wouldn’t mind tagging along if it ever got selected…
I would tell you to take one of my weekly nominations but… I just made one as well.
I don’t mind sponsoring (or making myself) a nomination for 魔法少年なつき×らびっツ 1 | L24 though.
I wouldn’t worry about it. Some of the BL regulars here have, but I can only think of, like, three including myself off the top of my head. It’s definitely not anything like よつば in terms of learner popularity.
[DeepL Translation - needs review] Volume 1: “My roommate…is…not…a…guy!” My roommate, Makoto Kohinata, is a boy. …but he wears a girl’s uniform, has thin arms and legs like a girl, and has a girl’s voice and gestures like a girl. Is he really a guy? Is he really a man? A number of addicts are being bewitched by the too-cute boys (?)! A slightly different kind of adolescent school love comedy!

I don’t know.
Reason(s) for nominating: Like my previous nomination, this is a shounen manga. The cross dressing tag is also interesting to me, because I currently watch the otokonoko senapi anime. Also I think at least @Naphthalene might vote for this, so maybe it has a chance.
My apologies for not having added your book to the nomination list yet bbo! I thought I’d grabbed all of them, and I didn’t notice this one until I came back to check the poll start date.
We have three slots left for nominations! Get your noms in before the pool opens on the 20th!
Summary - English (fixed the DeepL translation on Natively)
Natsuki Nanahoshi is a boy who has withdrawal symptoms if he doesn’t dress up in cute clothes regularly. One day, Monzaemon, a strange animated plushie, suddenly appeared and tricked him into becoming a magical boy, and now evil aliens (male) are after his lips! What’s more, the destruction of the earth is at stake if they manage to kiss him! What will happen to Natsuki, the (unbeknownst to him) school idol who’s (also unbeknownst to him) seen as an angel (i.e., really cute) by his enemies?
Content Warnings
The whole premise of adult guys trying to kiss a middle schooler against his own will is kinda icky.
Reason(s) for nominating: It looks really cute and fun. I checked the extended free preview (about 1/3) and it was indeed, with the major drawback put in the content warnings. But I’m sure I can push through that with the help of the club
This poll will close on July 28, and we will start the chosen book on August 19. Please see the list of nominations here (Natively post) or here (Natively list).
In other news, I have finally confirmed the existence of a Chinese translation of Flesh&Blood. No one’s surprised one exists, I know, but not knowing how to search for it has taken me a while to get past. Anyway, I’d like to acquire a physical copy of the first book if I can, but my used-Chinese-book-buying-fu is really weak. Does anyone know any good places to check, proxies to enquire with?
Considering how calm the forum is those days, I don’t have much hopes about participation I’m already amazed that we have 9 voters at the time of writing.
Very true; I’ve been wondering if we’re going to have a children’s club repeat. Looks like it helps that we have manga options, though; current top 4 are all manga, at least.
Ah, speaking of the top picks, I was re-reading @Naphthalene’s nom post and have to ask: @enbyboiwonder, as the only marked user having read ギンモクセイ, was there any adult content that you saw in either volume?
The first chapter is available for free until the 1st of August (and the books discounted). There’s 1 (one) panel with some skin visible, but the angle prevents to see anything “inappropriate” (by which I mean the crotch area). One commenter on Booklive said of the content “エロさ控えめ”.
You did, because I used to be able to see it 2 days ago.
I wonder if it’s just a visual change due to the last forum update?
(Menus look a bit different too)
Interesting and a bit sad if so. It’s handy to be able to know when a poll closes at a glance… Well, I’ll leave it up for now, and see if it naturally closes?
I don’t have a strong preference on which to read first (as I’d like to join for both). I’d also like to read both volumes, but only if we don’t read the second volume simultaneously as the following book, as I feel that it would be too much to join for both…
