I’m happy 2/3 I voted for are in the top 3, but also sad because I ain’t got time to read even more books ![]()
You’re welcome ![]()

with all these ties… maybe flip a coin
seize control ![]()
first book will be A, next book will be B and 3rd book will be C…
all the extra 2nd place won’t matter and will save some polls
I think we’ve instated the oldest nomination wins a tie here (but not entirely sure bc I forget which clubs do and don’t do that now
)
Ah, the curse of the BL club rears its head yet again, haha.
I don’t think that’s officially been implemented in this club, mostly because it’s been so amusing for 90% of our votes to end in ties.
I’m open to asking everyone what they’d like to do after this votes wraps up, though.
I personally don’t care at all about tie break rules. I’m just here for the hot guys ![]()
so you pick which one you want to read in order of least to most hottest…
then you will always be looking forward to the next pic ![]()
Although honestly, looking at the currently-tied top 3, I’m a bit wary of the situation we’ve seen in so many others, as well as past BL choices: a shrinking participant base. I don’t want to put the BL club on pause, but with so few active participants these days, maybe it’s a discussion we need to have. The overlap for who voted for the top 3 is not large, so I’m afraid that no matter what wins, one or all, we’ll see minimal participants regardless.
That’s the case for the forum in general. I’m seeing less and less activity over the past couple of years. I don’t know if putting the club on pause would help.
Don’t need to have a huge group though…
even if it’s only 2 people …
it can still be a quiet club ![]()
Agreed. I don’t really see what benefit pausing it would bring. Tho I’m a mostly outsider, so feel free to discount my opinion
Based on the top 3, you’d have a min of 4 and a max of 7, assuming ppl who voted participate in what they voted for. And the people who voted seem to be pretty dedicated, so it doesn’t seem like attrition would be an issue
Actually, I was looking at past polls, and participation was 24 → 13 → 8 → 11, and we are currently sitting at 9, so not even the worst we ever had.
Also, I was checking posts site wide, and it seems things really got quiet from this January, actually. I’m guessing there’s just no advertising for the site going on, so we are only bleeding users? ![]()
Edit: Also, we only got 92 new users on the forum since January, and only 17 made it to the member status (which only requires visiting 7 days or so I think? Maybe 10? Anyway, just coming back a few times). That’s barely over 2 members per month.
If you guys/usual participants who’ve hung on this long are find with it, then I’m certainly fine with continuing as well. Just wanted to bring it up as a point of discussion, since the topic’s been circulating in various clubs for a bit now.
Anyway, hopefully 妖魔と下僕の契約条件 wins (alone or as a tie) so that I finally have less than 5 books I want to vote for in the LN club and get to make nominations
(well, one, otherwise I won’t be able to vote for everything)

The number of messages is a bit overwhelming for me but I hope to get used to it.
Hey all, can anyone recommend me a nice way to not miss the moment when a book is chosen?
Look at the poll deadline, and set a reminder on your phone or other calendar? Idk any fancier way than that, short of turning on Watching… But then you’ll get notifications for every single comment
On top of what @暁のルナ said, the current poll is here: 👨❤️👨 BL Book Club 🎓 BL University 📚 VOTING - #939 by eefara
You can vote too, by the way!
Anyway, there will be a bit of time between the end of the poll and the start of the next book, so it’s not that tight a schedule.
So it looks like 妖魔と下僕の契約条件 has won! (Your wish has been fulfilled @Naphthalene, haha.) I see that @Biblio was the original nominator; yourself you like to run the club?
(And tagging @Kroki just to make sure you’ve seen the selection!)
Thanks for the tag!
Looking forward to start it, even if I voted for more toxic options ![]()
