They’re definitely a bunch of gossipy busy bodies, it’s not a perception thing.
Tbh it’s kinda a suspension of disbelief point for me - but that’s the case with all these sorta anime/LNs with these extreme male students bodies (not that this one is particularly extreme)

Same for me. Speaking of perception (skill), how is he even hearing all that? Does he have the “Col Do Ma Ma Daqua” thought (=perk in a certain video game; +3 to hearing perception, can perceive supernatural sounds) or something.
Plus, he is now explicitly described as cute. Even if he is style is detrimental to that, I don’t see how much difference that can make when wearing a school uniform. What are those people even talking about.
It just feels weird.

The best part of this by far is when the two of them are just chilling. All the drama and social anxiety stuff is a bit whatever for me but the two of them just hanging out is pretty enjoyable.
Fun bit at the end. I was pleased to see he actually did set an alarm before napping. Now, would I nap at like 9pm or whatever, no, but maybe teens have weird energy reserves
This is also making me want to read Toradora which I might tackle after this idk.

Week 9 - ch 3 pt 3/5 impressions

Planning on it. When the BL club wraps up in about a month I might have more club time to pick up the pace here but we also found out that our landlord is selling our house so now we have an unplanned move in about 1-2 months.
That came up in my new words one day. I already knew 厄介 so I didn’t get to use that sentence, but I did the next best thing and finally put something as my banner pic

It’s ok. We have quite a few locations in the area to choose from, and there are pros and cons to living at our current house, so moving isn’t the worst thing in the world. The actual move itself is what we’re least looking forward to.

I don’t think I would drop if we sped up but I would probably not meet an increased pace, as I only like to devote so much of my time to club books and I’m already at my limit.

Really fun chapter (well, portion of a chapter). Good reactions from everybody involved, even if it was peak awks to read haha.
First time I felt like I was getting more fluent with reading, though I still had to break it into two sessions because I ran out of stamina halfway through
