My dashboard gripe is kind of similar to this re: the filters on the activity feed. The books/videos filters for the dashboard activity feed will reset any time you visit the activity feed on someone’s user profile. I always just have my dashboard activity feed set to books, but if I look at my own profile’s activity feed or other user, that feed’s filter is set to everything by default, and then that feed’s filter setting overwrites the dashboard filter, so the dashboard activity feed also shows everything (or whatever filter I selected last on the user’s activity feed).
A just-nice-to-have would be to have the currently-reading and currently-watching widgets always visible, even if they are empty (or to be able to configure which widgets are visible in account settings). It’s small, but being able to always access “My books” from the dashboard widget would be one less click through a menu if I’m starting something new while my currently-reading is empty, instead of having that widget disappear when I finish a book.
