If I’m counting correctly, there’s 10 weeks left between Oct 27 and January 4th, and 356 pages from the start of chapter 3 to the end. That’s 36 pages a week, give or take, which seems okay for a reading pace. Chapters won’t line up neatly, though, so it could look something like this : | Week | Chapters | Pages | | --- | --- | --- | | Oct 27 - Nov 2 | Chapter 3.1 + 3.2 | 46 | | Nov 3 - Nov 9 | Chapter 3.3 | 34 | | Nov 10 - Nov 16 | Chapter 4 | 40 | | Nov 17 - Nov 23 | Chapter 5.1 | 44 | | Nov 24 - Nov 30 | Chapter 5.2 + 6.1 | 45 | | Dec 1 - Dec 7 | Chapter 6.2 + 7.1 | 43 | | Dec 8 - Dec 14 | Chapter 7.2 | 28 | | Dec 15 - Dec 21 | Chapter 8.1 | 32 | | Dec 22 - Dec 28 | Chapter 8.2+8.3 | 44 | | Dec 29 - Jan 4 | Catch-up ? | ? | It seems doable from a reading stand point. HOWEVER, even though I’m reading ahead (I’m somewhere along chapter 4 right now), I won’t be able to keep up with the reference thread at this pace (each reference thread takes about twice the time it takes to read the chapter, and I read first because stopping all the time to actually check and write the references means I lose track of the story. So basically, time-wise, it’s as if I’m reading each chapter three times).
