I added the table to for Book 3, though I’m wondering, since ch 12 is so short, should we combine 12 & 13, for a total of 38 pgs (instead of 16)

On that note I’m wondering: would anyone else be interested in changing the pace to 2 chapters per week, for these last 4 chapters? Otoh if it would be prohibitive for anyone, lmk and we’ll leave it as is

Stuck to the original structure for Week 17, since I didn’t have a chance to get to this. But for next week, we’ll be combining the final two chapters!

I went ahead and read it all. It’s a bit disappointing in that I like the manga (art, etc) part much more than the story (pacing, etc).

I’m thinking about reading another manga from the author. I requested the other works for natively (Japanese Books Difficulty List | Natively). They are not visible yet. That’s when I saw that they had basically the same story published before: とどのつまりの有頂天 1 | L24?? I wonder if 雨でも晴れでも is the expanded “directors cut” version? Maybe とどのつまりの有頂天 is the better version if it’s shorter and more concentrated on Mikato and Nekozaki.

I’ve enjoyed, but been somewhat less enamored with it this time around. For me personally, I wonder how much of that is a result of reading it weekly, rather than all in one go. Anyway, I’ve still got 4 chapters to go (behind in my own book club :sweat_smile:) - so I’ll have to see how I feel at the end.

If the few reviews for both series on MAL are any indication, it doesn’t seem particularly likely, but if it is then I might give it a read at some point.

Anyway, thx for sticking through, and sharing your thoughts on it! It’s been nice reading together :slight_smile:
