That’s very true; only way jumping around is bearable for me digitally, at least.

I wonder how long the count has been planning his move to London? Months? Years? Decades?

And him crawling out of the window always brings the image of a spider to mind.

I think I am switching to English. I listened to the parts that I had already read, thinking I had a pretty good understanding, but I missed a lot of details that make the story more interesting, imo. The issue with me free flowing everything. :see_no_evil:

After a few days break, we’re back in it.

Jonathan goes exploring, and seems intent on ignoring the Count’s explicit warning against sleeping anywhere but his assigned bedroom. We shall find out tomorrow what happens. :eyes:

I have to wonder what happened in these missing days. “Dear Diary, today I taught Drac how to play baccarat and he’s eyes turned red and dripped blood every time he lost but he didn’t crawl down the side of the castle like a lizard with his cape ignoring the law of gravity, … so I guess not much happened today. Maybe tomorrow I’ll have something to write about … fingers crossed!”

Hahaha. I figured characters were just going with the flow, a kind of “wait and see” type thing. Tension is high, but nothing particular noteworthy actually happens, maybe?

I am reading the abridged version with only ~300 pages and trying to gauge where everyone else is at in the story compared to me. No comments so far other than my hands hurt with how many lookups I had to do on the phone so I am going to prop up the book on a stand and do lookups on the proper keyboard. It is very cool description language that I haven’t seen much of to date, all feels relatively important words to learn as well.

I fell behind just a bit this weekend, so it was nice to see two short entries, though I’m sure Jonathan doesn’t agree with me, haha.

Assuming Lucy or someone doesn’t pop in in the meantime, it looks like the next entry from Jonathan will be on the 28th, so a bit away!
