We’re reading メモリーズオフ (Memories Off) with the [Visual Novel Reading Club](http://forums.learnnatively.com/t/visual-novel-reading-club-voting-until-july-27/4428/245). Anybody can join! ## How it works? We’ll be going by routes, at our own individual paces, with a separate thread for each (see below) ## Details Nomination post: [Visual Novel Reading Club | Reading FLOWERS -Le volume sur printemps-（春篇) - #245 by earwen](http://forums.learnnatively.com/t/visual-novel-reading-club-voting-until-july-27/4428/245) - vndb: [https://vndb.org/v1152](https://vndb.org/v1152) - Playtime (native): 22h - Routes: 6 - Difficulty: probly on the easier side, especially if you’re familiar with school vocab - cw: death of a loved one, not a spoiler, in the synopsis - playlist: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAdEakWI3vs&list=PLhFtTrcmtIV1ROO9NFYzC6hil6exAs6Gb](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAdEakWI3vs&list=PLhFtTrcmtIV1ROO9NFYzC6hil6exAs6Gb) - voice: voiced besides the protag Synopsis: It’s a surprisingly bittersweet tale about a guy named Tomoya Mikami who actually was dating the girl of his dreams, Ayaka Hizuki, for a long time…only to have her die tragically a good while before the game starts. The game even begins with Tomoya having a flashback about Ayaka whilst walking to the train station to get to school. On the train, as usual, is Yue Imasaka - a close friend of Tomoya and Ayaka who pretty much grew up with them. The gist of the story is that Tomoya feels that he’s spent enough time grieving over the loss of Ayaka and is ready to try his hand at love again and hopefully find another wonderful girl to make beautiful memories with. # Routes There are 6 routes, we’re going in the order in this walkthrough: [https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/dreamcast/577242-memories-off-complete/faqs/8244](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/dreamcast/577242-memories-off-complete/faqs/8244) ## Route Threads 1. The routes already start diverging by the end of Day 1 (After school, 3rd choice). So use common till the end of school on Day 1, I guess? ---

Turns out I won’t have access to the device I play vns on for another 10 days 🙃 I tried the yt playlist, but it goes by too fast for me to read. Guess I’ll have to catch up later. Watching the opening movie though, looks like there is a teacher route? If I knew, I’d have added that as a cw 😬 sorry to anyone who might be put off by this. ---

I’m not very far in (finished first day in Yue route), but planning to wait for others to catch up, before going further > [@earwen](#): > > Watching the opening movie though, looks like there is a teacher route? There isn’t. Koyomi is a 4th year university student, who is a substitute cashier for her mom, at the school for a week. So a 5 year age gap (probably 16/17 & 21/22, depending on birthdays). Maybe add that into the nomination post, in case someone comes along in the future? ---

That’s definitely not as bad as teacher but still worth mentioning. Edited the nomination post. ---

All the route threads, with choice maps, are up & in OP now. Ayaka didn’t have a choice map… so good luck, whenever anyone gets to her! ---

The whole series is 50% off right now on Steam. Just wanted to let anyone who’s interested know.
