rn, but I read a little bit together with the audiobook. Seems cool(?) so far. Will probably be useful on Thursday to help force my brain into 東京弁 before my lesson (I hope)
Otherwise once I finish 凜として, 大阪弁で読む『変身』 | L30?? is my next priority… It’s also a mystery book. Anyway point is, it will probably be a gradual read for me
I have a feeling this will scratch my new vocab itch I’ve been feeling lately
It has been months already since I opened JPDB to study some vocabulary, but reading about JPDB and Jiten in this forum these days I got motivated again. Also, I’m now reading
and realize that there are some more words that I don’t know which leads to a slower reading pace, though this story line is really interesting.
I have two decks currently open for studying. Some stats:

With pages I am already at my best year ever ,
with books I am outperforming last year and on the same level as 2023. To be at the level of 2022 I’m 2 books behind, which was my best year
I looked a bit at JPDB and my reviews. Gladly I only had around 100 piling up, because I have a lower frequency configured. I just did another session and now only have 14 left I am almost there
I am trying to learn a bit more with JPDB to help me with reading Kyoto no Holmes 2.
Thoughts on Kyoto no Holmes 2
I am currently reading the chapter, where Akihito-san returns to Kyoyo and Holmes is showing him around the Nanzenji temple. It’s so beautifully written. At the same time there are a lot temple specific vocabularies that I don’t know yet. A funny BL-like scene was also there. Just subtle but it was quite cute, when Akihito was holding Holmes hand and declaring something and Holmes telling him that this might be perceived in a different vibe
Btw this chapter is read from Akihito’s point of view. I was a bit confused in the beginning, because I did not expect this, but it is really interesting to get to read all his inner thoughts
