), and episode #12 of Summer Pockets S1 | L23, #13 of アン・シャーリー S1 | L25, #1 of SAND LAND: THE SERIES S1 | L27??, and last not least re-watched #24 of 狼と香辛料 merchant meets the wise wolf S1 | L35, so all in all about 1 hour 20 minutes of anime.
Result: 4 hours and 20 minutes in the last 24 hours.
Gonna take a quick nap and then start after. (If I’m not back in an hour come wake me up)

The book grew on me as I listened; it’s pretty mid as a mystery, I feel, but some of the characters had some charm to them, and I always appreciate the supernatural. I’ll probably nab the second audiobook and keep it on reserve for a rainy day.

As per usual with my audiobooks, I had to pause far less often the further I got in; I was expecting another 3 hours or so for this final session, but finished ahead of time quite thankfully.
I’ll probably call it a day Japanese-wise for now. I’m gonna take a break, and maybe watch something in Spanish tonight. I don’t have anything in particular in mind, but I’ll find something. It’s been fun reading everyone else’s updates!
Edit: Well, what the heck. It just filtered through to my brain that I’m only ~10m away from having listened to six hours worth of JP today, so I’ll go find a short YouTube video and get that nice round number.
Started at around 2025-06-28T20:30:00Z The site that I was using is currently unavailable, so I had to dig up a new method to watch with Japanese subs.
And done~ Random YouTube video achieved. Did I pay as much attention to 10 measly minutes as I could have? …I’m not going to answer that. 
Wow I forgot how terrible kitsunekko subs are. Off by up to 60 seconds, and when you sync them then they speed up. I’m gonna hold off on Noragami until anime🍈 is back, until then I’ll try some easier ones without subs. But I need a break right now cause I’m too mad to focus.
Well, that went poorly. The first 30 minutes of 37,2 le matin were only barely followable. Comprehension improved as poor Beatrice’s mental state declined, and by the end It was okay. Still, tiring and had to take more breaks than I wanted, slowing me down significantly.
That said, it’s an amazing, brilliant, screwed up mess of a film!

Not quite as ambitious as I’d hoped, but I watched videos 7 and 8 of this playlist, which should be about 1h 50 min of Spanish. It’s still a fair bit more than I’d usually watch in a day though.
Tomorrow I’ll do Japanese and I’m thinking I’ll mainly watch anime and aim for 5+ hours.

I won’t get through another movie tonight, but I’m going to start one anyway … will update tomorrow … 'cause it’s late … and I’m tired … and my brain is squishy … and I’ve definitely passed the point of diminishing returns and am moving headlong into pyrrhic victory.
Sunday, 9 am here and I am off! I will catch up on all the updates on my next break, for now I’ll try and watch the last 2 episodes of Business Proposal.
I realise now that I didn’t make a results post HA sorry everyone I’ll be more prepared next time! For this one I’ll just add a table to the Participants post, that I’ll update myself with everyone who’s already posted their results (feel free to edit!!), and the rest of us can add ourselves when we finish.
I didn’t manage to do a full 24hrs up, but I am considering it next time. Really pleased with what I did manage to do considering it’s more than I’ve done in a while in one day, though I think next time I should look at varying the content more, rather than sticking with mostly the one podcast series.

I finished 2 of my ongoing shows! And I tried to go for extensive listening, almost not stopping or looking up any words. I got the gist of Business Proposal since I’ve seen the show already, as for See You in my 19th Life I did have to pause a bit more often, and I gave up on understanding the shaman / historical stuff.
I’ll take a lunch break now and try to watch a couple more episodes.

I’ll continue with my 90’s films today, but will be less ambitious. Still, thrilled at how well I’m doing, despite exhaustion and funny voices, with Les Visiteurs.
I’m going to be doing my marathon day today. A board game night went unexpectedly long last night and I got less than five hours of sleep, so I’m going to push myself less than I had hoped for.
Still going to try to get as much listening in Spanish done as I can while prioritizing eating/sleeping well though! Will probably end up being a lot of Love Island Spain with subtitles in Spanish, because the kind of low effort junk food that my brain needs today.
