Reason(s) for nominating: I picked this up years and years ago and figured I’d add it in case there are any other science nerds out there. 
It’s an easy read (other than all of the vocabulary necessary) but if you do remember any of your high school biology it’s quite a bit easier to read. There’re lots of different subjects in the series (I also have the physics one though I don’t think that’d make for super compelling book club reading 
). I’d also be open to just about any of the other topics they have in the series.
