As somebody who has read 鏡の孤城, I just wanted to add a content warning for sexual assault.
Also, I would categorize it more as YA than children’s (it’s usually located in the adult mystery section in bookstores here). Not to say it shouldn’t be nominated or anything. I just thought I’d mention it since I know the appeal of this club for some is the lower difficulty.

Thanks! Yes, that book may be outside of the scope of this book club (it’s harder and quite a bit longer than our normal picks, plus the darker themes), but I’ll leave it in the nomination list for now. Some of us were planning on doing a separate book club for it soon, so maybe whenever that gets up and running I’ll take it out of the nominations here (as there’s no need to have 2 clubs reading it).

I thought making it “infinite” votes like last time was quite a good idea for such a small club. If someone would participate in 6, 7 or 8 of them… why not let them vote for those too?

Oops, I forgot about that and just did it like other clubs. 
I’ll add that to the home post and we can do infinite votes next time. We can also refrain from removing any nominations this time if that helps.
