this has been going on for a couple of days
The lists haven’t tried opening again until tonight as I was going to add the books that arrived from CDJapan and clear out some of my private lists for placeholders and whatnot.
Last time a week or so ago, had this problem trying to click on owned books and @brandon somehow refreshed the library and it went away but now I’m finding that 2 of my books that I know for certain were part of the library went missing (just had to add them back tonight).
Somethings buggy somewhere. I’m just lucky enough to trip over odd/rare/never before found bugs in weird places mayhaps.
Movie author urls are malformed. They’re coming out like http://learnnatively.com/tv/5d3e0bd92b/[object%20Object]/?q=Kouji%20Miura. I can get around it by doing a search like https://learnnatively.com/search/jpn/videos/?q=Naoko%20Yamada&series=series - but clicking on a name directly from a movie’s page is broken

Ditto on this. I added my own reports and they all seem to be unlisted now but it definitely seems like the site is being targeted by spammers recently.
Yeah, I also got rid of some spam the other day… I don’t even understand what they are trying to accomplish, they don’t even provide a fake link or anything (and who would click on those anyway)
It is stuck on Episodes populating since a couple months now.
Removing and readding the show does not help.
It does let me update my watched episodes, but updates are neither saved nor do they show up in my update feed.
Re：ゼロから始める異世界生活 S3 | L34 has that same issue. I got around it by either checking them off manually, on the show’s page, or updating via the basic info (instead of the progress update). Idrc which way, but one of them worked
Yeah don’t know what’s going on with all the spam recently, but getting 2 reports of spam should make them go away… i’ll try to be more on top of it too.
As a part of my new roadmap and plans, (see here) I’ll be updating you all on progress after my two day sprints every Tuesday & Wednesday.
Initial thoughts & progress:
first, this new schedule is super invigorating! Dedicating full days to certain projects really helps me get excited about the days work. It also adds a bit of urgency (won’t touch for another week!)
implemented an automated tv season / tv episode deleter when tv seasons / episodes are deleted on TMDB, with a lot of automated testing. Implemented first version of automated syncher which reduced some data requests I get. FYI the complication here is not deleting any of your user data if it’s deemed super essential (in progress seasons / gradings / written reviews).
investigated why Spanish books weren’t adding and determined a potential solution to implement.
[Infrastructure/Dev] Got a lot more typing around the TMDB API as I’ll be working here a bit more. Also did some quality of life things.
Next Week
Mostly focused on getting Spanish book additions working again
Potentially get more automated updaters working for my data requests
PS: I’ll still be poking around on off days, but Tuesday/Wednesday are my full dev days
Instead of using the S2, tmdb now adds episodes to the S1. But as the S1 is no longer set to “ongoing“ on LN, the new episodes do also not appear there.
