Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the biggest mystery of this first chapter: 白雨 is clearly described as a 三毛猫, so why is the cat on the cover of my book white? ---

Finally completed the full section for this week! I am not really sure what to think so far, but the imagery is very vivid and foreboding. All the water, reflections and streets that look the same is a unique setting for me! The inside of Kyojiro’s home sounded eclectic and cozy to me though (jazz music, old comfy seating, a cat!!! But maybe also not, since he has those psychedelic cacti that look like はにわ and those are somewhat unsettling haha). 恩田陸 is a new author for me and the book is from a genre(s?) that I don’t typically read so I’m excited to see where things go, since I have no idea at the moment.
