There’s been a problem lately with adding Korean books. Some just seem to not work at all, for whatever reason. I thought it was an isolated incident, with 서미에’s short stories that I couldn’t add, but it’s been happening more and more unfortunately. At least it seems like it’s consistent though, no matter who tries and when, so it’s definitely not something on our end, and should therefore be fixable?

That’s how it’s looking. I’ve tried with all the links I found on yes24 (2 links for each of the 2 books), and none of them worked. I’m not sure if the “we’re working on it” that comes up with the error message means that the admins are notified, or that we should try again later. I don’t want to get too intense by sending an email, but if they’re not actually notified maybe I should?

It’s just brandon working on potential fixes as far as I know; he’s aware of the issue, last I heard, and planned to get a fix in, but I’m not sure of his status right now. Couldn’t hurt to send an e-mail, at the very least.

Finished the section today. I don’t think I have much more to add but I’ll echo that despite the language being pretty easy, it was a fairly difficult read. I hope that improves once we’re more familiar with the story.
Ok phew. That’s totally the thought that I came out with at the end of the chapter but I was like, did I assume a different person was talking? Did I confuse the characters too many times? Did I forget whose given/last name goes to whom too many times? 
There was only one thing that I just couldn’t read, but for all the rest of it, I can confirm it wasn’t plot relevant. But yes. It’s criminally small.

Well, I’m the complete opposite. Chapter 1 really grabbed me and I really like the main character. He is like a textbook good person and goes out of his way to try to understand 大和 and make him feel better. Plus, he is as non judgmental as can be. And he is cute. 12/10. I guess I’m just curious why his girlfriend is nowhere to be seen past the first couple of pages.
Why zombie? Also hands didn’t look particularly disproportionate to me.
Thanks to all the warnings, I paid extra attention to the names from the start. It made everything breezy 
Well, 大和 was playing with 恭介’s hand while he was asleep… I think he may get interested in 唯司 as they get closer, but it doesn’t feel like it’s a case so far.

I would like to thank everyone here who warned us about the names, I made a cheat sheet at the beginning, and it has been a huge help.
Just out of curiosity, is Yamato the give name and Yoshinaga the last name? I can’t really tell and I feel like it would give hints as to the relationship between different characters knowing who calls who by their given name.
As for the story: like other people here I’m not finding it to be an easy read, but from what I understand I think I like the main character so far.
There were a few cute scenes, but plot-wise not much has happened. (Except turtles! We got turtles!)
Where did she come from, where did she go? We didn’t even get her name.
I’m curious about that too, I thought Hasegawa was imagining things but then Yoshinaga was definitely playing with Kyosuke’s hand, so… ¿?

Here you go. I included the kanjis based on eefara’s comment & the Japanese synopsis but I might be way off.

Looking at the Natively synopsis though, it looks like Hasegawa’s full name is Hasegawa Tadashi, but for some reason I wrote down Yuiji Hasegawa?? I guess my idea wasn’t as foolproof as I thought. If anyone can shed light on this before we can add it to the homepost that’d be great.

Unless they gave it a weird reading in the story, 唯司 is ただし (Tadashi, pun intended). Definitely don’t trust the auto translated blurb (which says Yuji)

Names are kinda notoriously difficult to know the pronunciation of based on just the kanji. It’s probably a case of the machine translation just being wrong. If no one else has commented by later today when I’m not procrastinating doing the dishes () I’ll grab the readings from the first chapter.

Hm, the page right at the end of Chapter 1 presenting characters, at least in the Korean version has Hasekawa Yuiji on it. Maybe they changed the reading for a pun in Korean? (which I didnt get) (by the way, what is the pun in Japanese??)

Honestly I’d be more inclined to read 唯 as ゆう, so I can see where the machine translation went.
正 or 忠 are the more likely ただ(し) kanji for me

Tadashii can mean like correct, right, law abiding, so I’m guessing that’s the pun

Maybe that’s why the Korean translation went with the other reading. If the pun was going to get lost in translation either way… Still, a bit strange. I’ll pay attention in the next chapter to see if they ever use Tadashi, but I only remember seeing Yuiji in the first one.
