Japanese Netflix has it with nice subtitles. The way the novel is written makes it a challenging adaptation, but the movie is quite critically acclaimed I think.

I had watched it at the cinema when it first came out, many years ago. I can’t say I remember much but it definitely left an impression. Would love to rewatch it now if I get the chance.

I had no idea it was on Netflix but looked it up now and there it is! I’d definitely like to watch it after finishing the book either as a watch party (if the timing works out for me) or just talk with you all about it after seeing it alone.
