I wouldn’t worry about it; the original Persona 4 is stellar as-is.

Pokemon LeafGreen on the Switch is a ton of fun. While reading 100% kana is a little annoying the language is almost all comfortable or “I can figure this out from context”. Of games I’ve played in Japanese, this is the closest I’ve felt to playing in English. And figuring out the translations of technique or other names has been fun. Also fun seeing which Pokemon names do/song match the English. My bf & friends are playing, and I feel like I can enjoy the game on equal terms for once.
I just finished the SS Anne part & got the TM for Cut. So I think I have the next gym soon

Ah that’s my bad then. All I had heard was April.
I may be mistaken, but I think on the switch games you can choose at the beginning if you want them to have kanji? I remember playing Let’s Go Pikachu and not knowing this. I played the whole thing in hiragana and didn’t understand a thing at the time.

This is probably true for the modern ones, but not Gen 1-3 (which this is a rerelease of).

Yes, you can choose between Hiragana and Kanji in the modern ones. The old ones are in Hirgana only. I have no idea when they introduced that though

Pokémon games have had the option to use kanji since generation 5 and have displayed furigana (hiragana pronunciation displayed above the kanji) since generation 8
I’ll say the furigana in modern ones (I’ve played a few hours of Violet) looks great - tho I’m not a fan of open world in this series, personally, and hope it stops being a default trend for modern games

I’m currently playing the original Idolm@ster and… To be honest I hated the whole game during the tutorial
got used to it though and now I’m kinda hooked. Having previously only played 2 and Shiny Festa I have to say this though… I totally get why most of these songs barely ever make it into the newer games because most of them just aren’t really good except for a few. The songs in 2 are all amazing so that really surprised me here
Also some of these minigames are kinda brutal. For one lesson you have to memorize certain things and then you’ll have to input them, sometimes in the way they were shown, later on always randomly and if you think for just half a second about even just one you can’t get an A rank

I’ve played a bit of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana and was pretty instantly hooked, but then they released the Trails in the Sky remake which stole my focus instead… I own most of the games in the series and will be playing them all in due time. 
Adol has had quite the eventful life. So many shipwrecks…

I replayed The Oath in Felghana recently and was happy to see it was just as much fun as I remembered it being. I really want to replay Ys I & II one of these days, I also remember enjoying those.
