My goal has been to try to read things that are fairly easy to read and at least mildly entertaining. Thanks to this website, I have been finally able to crack some of the intimidations and issues I have had with reading. I also somewhat enjoy reading the essays that are commonly used for the JLPT reading sections, so I am more likely to read those than worry about more difficult Japanese literature.

I have passed all the JLPT levels and don’t really need to worry about tests so I will keep on reading and hopefully improve my skills further. I am not interested in the elitism that seems to infect most of the online Japanese learner communities.
