Hobbyist Japanese learner. I’ve been taking it more seriously since 2024.

I’m a big fan of ryukishi07s works, and the big goal is to be able to read them with minimal difficulty/look-ups.

Besides that I would consider my tastes broad, but I have a bias for works with a focus on female characters and relationships between them.

Japanese is the main language I’m focusinng on but other relevant languages:

• German → Out of practice for speaking but pretty much fluent as far as understanding goes as long as it isn’t specialized vocab. Currently I try to read in german semi-regularly to not lose it, but not a priority beyond that.
• English → I would consider myself fluent, and I use it both for work and personal life constantly.
• Mandarin → Very casually learning, eventually will focus on it more but not a priority. For now I just spend 5 minutes a day on an app for it maximum.
