Hi! I’m a Japanese literacy coach working mainly with N4 to N2 learners who want to break through the “kanji wall” and read with more confidence. I’m originally from Colorado, and I fell in love with reading Japanese and I haven’t slowed down since. I especially enjoy reading with others, both in private lessons and in community spaces. Digging into kanji, vocabulary, grammar, and nuance is genuinely one of my favorite things. These days I live in the Japanese countryside, surrounded by nature and books, enjoying a slow life with my dog, cat, and garden, and occasionally my husband.
