Addition of Resources Page

Description of your request or bug report:

It might be useful to have a page specifically for various resources to help with language learning, such as websites or apps. A lot of these are discussed in the forums, and it might be good to collate into a page of useful links, possibly with the option for users to vote up items they find useful.

There could be categories like online dictionaries, verb conjugators (Dongsa), grammar references (Bunpro), example sentences (JPDB), srs/flashcards (anki, memrise), reading aids (Readlang, Mokuro, Yomitan), and so on… With info on whether it’s free/paid. It could be similar to the providers page, with short descriptions, recommended sites, etc.

There are some threads that are specifically geared towards collecting these kind of resources, and collating the info into a specific natively page would be easier to navigate. Examples:

Trello link: (leave in blank)

It feels to me that this would be a good page / pages for the forums, what do you think? Like over on WaniKani there are the Ultimate list of Japanese Learning Resources - Japanese Language - WaniKani Community and the The Ultimate Additional Japanese Resources List! - Resources - WaniKani Community
I cannot imagine to have a very small group of people trying to keep these pages up-to-date - this should be a community effort, and as such it should live in the forums, is my take.
What do you think?

Maybe you’re right - it would make it easier for the community to keep up to date. But I also like the idea of it being more integrated into the main site and voting to reflect which resources people find most helpful.

I think a tighter integration with Discourse, could solve some of the requests we currently have, such as Studying Logs.

One could designate X thread to be their studying log, and make it show on their Natively profile integrated. (See See Learning blogs in profile)

So for this one, I’d probably think of a similar thing. Designate X post as the resources page source of information, that way the community can keep it maintained.
