Well, there’s quite a bit of overlap between who voted for both of the first-place options, so it’s not really your fault

I removed my vote for 黒猫 tho, so that contributed (it didn’t create the tie tho iirc)
In any case, maybe I’ll break the tie later (in which direction, I wonder), if no on else has by then, since I have an extra vote now.

All of our actions created the tie, both in voting and in refraining to do so, and it’s not like we could blame a single person for it!
It was me. I also removed my vote from 黒猫. I created the tie. 
I realized that it’s L29, which is currently well beyond what I enjoy reading, so… I’d rather not at the moment. I just recently tried Kino no Tabi again, which is at the same level, and stopped really soon into it because it was just too many look-ups.
Sadly I’m not interested in the other book though, so I can’t really help break the tie either.

I was never so glad that my nomination didn’t win. I don’t have to read a L29 right now. Phew!

Going by the rating of “22??” it could be anything, but yeah, with a little luck it’s easier than L29.
Is the book good? How does it compare to the excellent movie? I usually don’t like reading books that have movies as their source too much…

Ah, I shouldn’t have said reread (but I’m still half asleep), perhaps revisit - I’ve only read the manga (and watched the movie a looong time ago), so the book itself will be new to me

It looks like it has some gradings on it, but not enough to give it a proper grade (we’ll fix that with the club, for sure 
), but it’s probably somewhere in the N3 band.

This was a large part of why I pulled my vote tbh. Almost everything I’m reading rn is L28+, and I’ve gotten kinda burnt out by all the lookups. Also I thought it would be nice for the club to do something on the more “beginner” side of beginner.
When it was first nominated, it was “L25??”. It just barely has any gradings, but it seems like a safe bet that it’s in that range. Bear in mind that light novels default to “L30??” when they’re added to the site.

The gradings only say that it’s harder than an L19, L20 and an ungraded book, so with no “easier than” that’s almost no information at all. I don’t know how it went from L25?? to L22??, but the site algorithm at least shouldn’t have any idea how hard it is.

I had a look at the preview. Based on my past experience, it feels harder than 絶叫学級 禁断の遊び 編 | L23 and same or slightly easier than とんでもスキルで異世界放浪メシ1 豚の生姜焼き×伝説の魔獣 | L28 so I would say 26-27~ish?

I agree with @Naphthalene’s guess of 26-27 for サマーウォーズ. I found that jpdb.io rates it 5/10. For comparison, the book we read just before, また、同じ夢を見ていた | L25 is 3/10 on jpdb.io, and キノの旅 1 | L29 is 6/10 on jpdb.io. This lines up pretty well with the estimate.
