When chapters get split, the end of the line you’re reading to gets put in the table, so people know where to read to. So even if page numbers are different due to different versions or settings, everyone still knows exactly where to leave off

Hmmm, interesting. Are there any clubs on here with tables that did that, by any chance? just wondering what it ends up looking like
I don’t know if any on here have, but there’s this one with such a table over on WK. It doesn’t look very pretty on mobile, granted, but the last line could be cut down to the last few words so it’s not as long

It’s a few weeks till また、同じ夢を見ていた finishes up, but I’m realizing we don’t have a set nominations removal policy.

Over in the WK forum book clubs the policy is usually along the lines of “Books that fail to score at least 15% on the last three rounds of voting will get automatically removed.” which might be something to consider too. It’s not like we’re currently in a rush to remove things at 14/20 suggestions.

How strict are we with the term “light novel” again? While I can’t speak about all of them, the books I do recognize from the list by @freddyg are regular novels, as far as I know (But 同じ夢 is also a “regular novel” so maybe it doesn’t matter?)
あなたも殺人犯になれる! at least didn’t feel “light novel esque” when I read it.
… I don’t really mind either way. Just wanted to ask for clarity and maybe suggest changing the name of the book club if we are going to allow all novels.

I’m thinking of simplifying the nominations table by:
- Removing the Number Field
- Having only a link to the book’s nomination post (rather than also a link to the Natively pg)
- Removing the Status field
Would any of these changes be an inconvenience to anyone?

You can probably hide the LN link behind the image i.e. make the image clickable.

I’m not taking part in this book club, but that field is out of date for 痛いのは嫌なので防御力に極振りしたいと思います。(17 volumes out, not 14). It sounds hard to keep track of, too, so it makes sense to remove it.
