I noticed this yesterday when grading 初恋 | L33 - I was given exclusively L35 shorts to grade against and despite marking all of them as ‘harder’ it never gave me a lower rated short to grade against (and I have read plenty all across the 30s, so it’s not for lack of options). Then today grading 髷 | L33 I had the same thing happen except with L34 shorts. I marked all of them as ‘harder’ but it never gave me a different level to grade against.

I checked my recent gradings and this has been happening on my end as well. I just hadn’t noticed.

Just bumping this with another example. 琥珀の夏 | L29 was graded at 28, IMO it’s closer to ~32, but I wasn’t given anything to compare to that wasn’t also L28 in the first 6 gradings.
