This one’s a long one. About halfway through it. I’ll admit, I was highly entertained when 壬氏 stormed in at the right moment. Though part of me wishes he’d waited a little longer.
I’ll confess, though: I decided to go ahead and start referencing the English translation when needed. I’m not sure if my breaks between readings have just been too long, if I’ve just been too tired lately, or what, but it’s just been feeling difficult to correctly read some of these chapters. I’m still getting at least 85%-90%, but missing the little bits annoys me, and can throw me off if they end up being important to what’s currently being talked about.
It’s really nice to be able to check, then go back and see, “ah, that’s what that was trying to say”. It’s also quite interesting to see how the English translator translated things, rephrased things, etc.
And done! That was a good second half; I wonder what 壬氏 needs Lihaku to do. Also sounds like Lakan (? I think that’s the spelling; not double-checking kanji now) has been sniffing around 緑青館; I wonder what that talk of buying out a contact was about…
