We could do it right before X—the main characters and setting from Gakuen Clamp make an appearance, but I can’t remember how important they are to the plot.
Yeah that’s all that I remember too
Vote for 東京BABYLON start date:

Also 東京BABYLON is about 1000 pages total. I checked the 愛蔵版 on Bookwalker, and it looks like at least for the first one, there are 3 volumes that are approx 100 pages. For convenience, here are the page breakdown:
Vol 0 - TYO - 5-44 (39 pages)
Vol 1 - Babel - 45-102 (57 pages)
Vol 1.5 - Destiny - 103-138 (35 pages)
Vol 2 - Dream - 139-242 (103 pages)
Annex Smile - 243-286 (43 pages)
Vol 3 - Call A - 287-348 (61 pages)
Vol 3 - Call B - 349-427 (78 pages)
I guess the question is should we read based on page count or volume? In terms of pacing, maybe we could read a section per week, except for vol 2 which I think we could split in half. That way we are more or less maintaining a similar pace like with MKR.
I’d be good with keeping up the MKR pace. Much faster would be rough especially with holidays coming up in case I fell behind.
I think 30-43 pgs per week makes sense, and not multiple volumes in one week. So I’d propose something like:
Week | Reading |
---|---|
1 | Vol 0 |
2 -3 | Vol 1 |
4 | Vol 1.5 |
5 - 7 | Vol 2 |
8 | Annex Smile |
9-10 | Vol 3 Call A |
11-12 | Vol 3 Call B |
I just noticed the set I bought is missing the last voL and it’s sold out everywhere
anyway looking forward to reading this and more CLAMP series with you guys
Depending how badly you want it, you might be able to use a proxy & find it on Mercari, Rakuten, etc
