Frontend Development Roadmap

It’s these little arrows on the progress updates dialog:

So add that as a possible upgrade: it being more obvious how you toggle them, haha. You aren’t the first to have to ask.

Duly noted! Thanks for the explanation

I’m not sure my earlier post was super clear . But when I was talking about a toggle, I’d like somewhere where I can say I want percentages to always come first. That way, if I’m logging a percentage I wouldn’t need to change anything, and it’s only if I want to log pages that I could then manually toggle it for that one instance through the current system.

Understood! Will see what I can do about it :+1:

I know we can sort stuff by ‘popularity’ (and what metric that is I’m not sure - amount of people who have logged something?), but it’d be nice to be able to rank stuff by no of ratings as well

Thank you for all the hard work!! Natively is absolutely a big part of keeping up my reading habits and improving my language ☆

is my gripe. I mainly use Natively app through my phone, and although I lurk the forums a lot, I personally don’t like how the app takes you to the forum and not the dashboard immediately

Although if more people like it this way to keep more engagment in the fourms, then thats understandable. Alsoo im just super glad natively has fourms instead of discord server

Oki, after writing my reply above, I doubted myself that what im using is actually not an app but a webpage shortcut I made a long time ago and forgot… and that was correct!

so yes.. I made another web shortcut to the dashboard and fixed my biggest pet peeve LOL.
Anyway, thank you for all the hard work

Glad you figured out where you took a wrong turn!
To begin with, there is no dedicated app for Natively, so whenever you have an icon on your phone, this should be some shortcut instead. :+1:

I noticed that when visiting the forums on chrome (android) I was prompted to download the “app”, but I’ve never had a similar prompt for the main site/dashboard.

And a minor annoyance: in the “app” the navigation links are switched so “Natively” takes you to the dashboard and “Natively app” keeps you on the forums…? :face_with_spiral_eyes:

ah that explain how i initially got the “app” and i thought it was the official natively app . Here a comparison between the fourm natively app vs short cut i created today to the dashboard. ( btw i love Natively icon)

When installing it, it says Natively app

Its not a big deal, tho if only its says Natively Fourm App might clear some confusion.

By the way, what drives this selection?

I use monthly, so “Last Month” would be cool to have, but uhm, 2024?

I think that’s just not having been updated and being a hard-coded thing.

Probably will be fixed when the new dashboard is up?. @nikoru

In principle, you are right!
Unfortunately this is not part of the dashboard but of the user’s activity page  so it will still take a while for us to get around to fixing it through the big rework…
