Wasn’t originally gonna make an update till next month, but I have a new, significant goal related to Yurihime.
In-progress:
- Read 1 issue of Yurihime magazine backlog per month (started in August, with vol 1 Summer 2005). Progress
- Read all of the physical books I own - Current: 48% - I’m reading 5 books/month to make this happen. Progress
- Get comfortable with L27+ fantasy/sci-fi manga - no direct progress, but have been reading more fantasy LNs + doing SRS for a lot of fantasy anime. Have recently read some L25-26 fantasy manga
- Read 薬屋のひとりごと | L37 and 裏世界ピクニック | L33 - no additional progress
- Complete 1 route of Fate/Stay Night - some progress, but gotten distracted by 月姫 remake, and now Hollow Ataraxia remake
- Watch Fate/Zero | L39 - I’ve done SRS for Fate/Stay Night (DEEN) and Unlimited Bladeworks anime. Fate/Zero has a jpdb deck as well. So maybe in the next months or two
- Read Japanese books and papers on history of yuri, shoujo, and/or Class S - I have one I started reading
- Finish flowers visual novel
Fate/Stay Night was originally “read all of”, but Fate/Stay Night is incredibly long. So I’ll just aim for Saber route

- Read a lot of Class S lit - I discovered that most Class S was published in the magazines, but not book form. I’m reading more of 吉屋信子’s books when I’m in the mood though
- Read a lot of 1970s-80s yuri - I’ll get around eventually, but not rn
- Read a lot of Year 24 Group works - I’ll get around eventually
- Watch more L34+ anime - finished all of 薬屋のひとりごと S2. Dropped b/c I don’t think this is particularly beneficial, since it’s too far above my comfort zone
