ch 5-6

Wow I really loved seeing the two of them in the flashback with the festival, and seeing how her love for the hero starts to bloom. It’s cool how they connect, despite (or perhaps due to) being opposites. And the present version is soooo nice. Honestly it would be nice even without the past life portrayal

I’m too tired to read this now, but スミレの花言葉は?色ごとにも花言葉がある? | FLOWER|かわいい花束を【送料無料】でお届け!毎日お得なオンラインのお花屋さん

Oh wow, a kiss!! The magic item-initiated flashback was cool. I really wish we got name readings more than once per volume tho, cuz I have no idea what the other two’s names are…

I was pretty tired by the time I was reading this, but it seemed like Kuroase(?) thinks that one of her advisor ppl suspects she has a crush on Momomiya, and the other one doesn’t? I might have misunderstood tho. Maybe I’ll reread it tomorrow

Btw, in planning to read vol 2 after this. I can keep the thread running if others are as well

I finished it already  cuz I just kinda wanted to get it out of the way. But feel free to post thoughts and I’ll respond.

Will leave a review later, but overall liked it

So, finished volume 1. Will definitely read volume 2.

I found this definitely harder to read than expected. I graded this harder than every single work the learnnatively presented me (which is kind of broken, but whatever).

The present part is pretty cute, but the past life stuff had me confused. Maybe because of language barrier.

Volume 1

I don’t quite understand the nature of the conflict in the past life. I think that’s because it’s not explained at all. It seems that the conflict is mostly based on species and Tia just happens to be the leader of the magical beast fraction, without any personal hatred for humans or any ambitions.

And then their relationship: it seemed to me that Tia can hide her horns and the hero (ryusha?) fell in love with her without knowing she is the maou. But Tia knew she is the hero.

And then, why did Tia kill her? That seems a bit too dark. The situation wasn’t were clear to me. Was it self-defense? Otherwise the hero would have been like a prisoner of war, not nessecarily someone Tia had to kill if she didn’t want to (depends on the rules in that other universe of course). And shouldn’t that memory have a stronger impact on Kurose?
