@HopeWaterfall maybe a bit more description here when you get the chance!
So you’re saying that yes24 book addition process doesn’t work from mobile linking? Any other issues? It sounds like you’ve been sensing it’s just a little buggy.
Only the ISBN working and not links (especially mobile) has been going on and off I feel like.
See for example here:
Using this link, I can’t add the book: 엔딩 보게 해주세요 | 김보영 | 요다 - 예스24
But using the ISBN from the same book, coming from the link above (9791190749008), it works!
I haven’t actually added that short story collection, that way you have a book ready if you want to test it. But yeah, it’s strange.
And another bug that I just encountered, again with the several windows open in different languages bug
. I went to add the book for Korean, clicked on the request button, went to get the link over on Yes24, came back, clicked on the search button and boom! It switched to the Japanese side of Natively without warning. And I did have a window open for Japanese, so that’s on me, but it would be nice if we could have these windows open at the same time without issues
Ugh, I’ve hit this issue too! Good news is that there’s no way to make a Yes24 book Japanese but it’s definitely super annoying. It will eventually be fixed by nikoru’s frontend overhaul though, 100%.
Roger that!
I was trying to add some books last week on mobile and it wouldn’t accept them even if I removed the “m.” in the URL, but I was able to add them on desktop. ![]()
There were another couple of books that came up ‘unknown error’ that I wasn’t able to add at all (용의 기사단 1 | Mineko Ohkami | 대원 - 예스24, 카시카 1 | 이츠키 나츠미 | 대원 - 예스24), but they could be due to this bug: Bug: can't add book if it's out of print on Yes24… ![]()
Haha I meant to ping you @bibliothecary for your thoughts! Very glad you found this ![]()
That’s very helpful context. And I had totally forgotten about that other bug, thank you!
I added a book from a yes24 link yesterday - I feel like that bug has always been the case. You can’t copy paste a mobile link, but if you switch to desktop view the issue goes away.
Alright everyone! I think we should be all fixed - mobile links should now work and books without ISBNs or (more importantly it turns out) without release dates.
@bibliothecary @monace @HopeWaterfall let me know your experiences!
Fixed on my end
thanks!
