ah, you aren’t able to difficulty grade textbooks.
If you think the level should change, just say so here

I made a custom list for Korean and added a few books to it, but realised it isn’t showing up on the ‘my books’ page. Instead, it’s showing up on the Japanese page, but obviously I can’t see the Korean books that have been added.
Yes, the same thing happened to me.
I’ve noticed descriptions on some pages appear twice, like here.
Couple little things I noticed when I was adding content:
When grading it says “with Japanese subs” instead of Korean
The run time has pulled through as zero on this show entry so when you try to edit you can’t save. 유메이크미댄스 | L29
I didn’t notice if it happened elsewhere coz I was mostly adding completed shows, I just happened to edit that one.
Duly noted on all these little things
As you can see one is the series description. I’m not entirely sure how to resolve because sometimes I do want both? It’s just that in this instance it’s duplicative
@bizoo fixed up those things.
@bibliothecary All those things should be fixed now. As for those series that weren’t collapsing, I’ve fixed them up but there may be an issue in the korean submission process that causes that. Basically, if we can’t auto find your series on yes24, we may hit this issue again. We should keep an eye out for it.
@NihongoLearner19 @bibliothecary wrt the custom lists, that functionality is now fixed, but I wasn’t sure which custom lists you want me to move back from japanese to korean. If you let me know, I can move them
Thanks for the fixes!
Another minor thing: when adding a Korean book to a custom list, all my Japanese custom lists are shown in the drop-down too.
good call! Fixed
@bibliothecary I see that you’ve added a lot of stuff . Out of curiosity, when I auto find a series, are you actually double checking that they aren’t crazy, multi-hundred book series?
Just wondering if I need to check them, or if I can greenlight them all to be populated
I’ve only been checking the series box for the ones that really are part of a series, so there shouldn’t be any “publisher series” in the ones I’ve submitted recently.
Some series include the series page as volume 1, for example 밤을 걷는 선비 시리즈 (series) | L25 and 안녕?!자두야!! 시리즈 (series) | L15. Not sure if this applies to all submissions or just the ones where the original submission was the series page.
Yeah it seems I need to do a tad bit more work on the series populater, which i’ll do tomorrow. I also have to fix that issue where your series weren’t collapsing properly in your library… you’ll notice the same thing on all the new series you added until I fix tomorrow
When adding new titles, could the info in square brackets be ignored? They’re often things like 대여 (rental) or 고화질 (HD images).
This probably makes sense. Mind sending an example yes24 link for my parsing tests?
A new sub or just a link? Here’s one: [전자책][고화질] 루어(RURE) - 예스24
Looks like TTMIK has gone full paid! I guess they’ve been laying the ground work, but still a bit sad:
Sad indeed. They offered a substantial amount of quality learning material for free for 10+ years, so I can’t really fault them for trying to make (more) money. Glad I saved a bunch of their PDFs back when I was using the site in earnest, though.
When adding dubbed shows, the results of the TMDB search show the Korean title and cover, but when the item is added the English title/cover are displayed. Would it be possible to use the Korean title/cover while keeping the other info (such as the description) in English?
