Korean Monolingual Podcasts

Hey everyone!

I know this isn’t book related, but I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for monolingual Korean podcasts for beginners?

I was using Choisusu for listening practice but she started using generative AI so I dropped her. Now looking for other options, if anyone has any recommendations.

I can’t say I listen to many podcasts, but you might find some useful info here: 🎧 Listening Resources 📻

You might also find it useful just to browse 팟빵’s podcasts. :slightly_smiling_face:

Koreansunflower has nice learner’s podcasts on her channel. There’s also Storytime in korean, no recent videos there but the ones that have been posted are pretty nice. 속닥복닥 Korean podcast also seems quite nice, but I’m not super familiar with the channel so you can just check it out and see if you like it.

In addition, 몰입한국어 is a great resource, although it’s not exactly a podcast but rather small stories. Similarly, for more listening practice, you can check out 태웅쌤’s channel where he plays games, not a podcast but great nonetheless.

And once you start getting closer to intermediate, you can listen to podcasts like Didi’s Korean culture podcast and 태웅쌤’s All things korean podcast.

한국어 한 조각 has a podcast (and some other video resources) for beginners on both YT and spotify (and maybe Apple?). They have free PDFs for the intermediate podcast so you might want to check if they’re offered for the beginner level as well!
