I couldnāt resistā¦

Did it work ? I used to do that a long time ago !
Yup, itās an mp3 CD, so it was very easy.
List of nominations is in the first post. The poll will be open for one week. Itās time to pick our second read!
I basically just voted for the books I had easier access to. But yes, we desperately need more voters, or I see each one of us reading a different book and then just comparing enjoyment levels
tbf, if I can borrow it from the library I am happy to read any of the books.
Closing date still doesnāt seem to work for polls (whatās up with that?), so just a reminder that the poll will be open until 2024-09-02T05:00:00Z, or as close to that as I remember to manually close it, since it seems it wonāt do it on its own.
Even if the closing time is no longer showing, I think the poll should still close automatically. Thatās what Iāve seen in the past, at least.
This is also my suspicion from looking around at other time limited polls. But why isnāt it showing? I tried a search on Discourse meta but came up empty. Surely hiding the closing date isnāt intended behaviour?
I couldnāt say either, unfortunately; sometimes I wonder how often other forums use polls compared to us and WK, so it could be that it is a bug thatās just never been reported?
It looks like the poll did indeed close automatically, and the winner is Der nasse Fisch!
@Magyarapointe , since youāre the one who nominated it, would you like to set up the thread?
Sure ! I just have to check out how before (I havenāt done that before,soā¦)
It should be up tonight.
Perfect! Let me know if you need any help.
You can base it on the Achtsam morden thread, or any other really. You basically make a home thread, decide the schedule, then post the weekly threads when the time comes. Starting date is supposed to be September 9, but this is also flexible if people prefer to leave it for a little later.
The Home thread can now be found here !
I propose a ten-week schedule, starting September 9, but if the time is too short to find a copy, or people prefer a slower schedule, just let me know. Once we have settled the schedule, Iāll post the Week-1 thread; I also have (I think) a digital copy somewhere, and Iāll update the schedule with the percentage.
