New followers on Following feed

Description of your request or bug report:

Since the notifications feature is listed as “Major” I thought this could be a good stop-gap:

  • List new followers in the “Following” and/or “Me” tab. Maybe Global? (Not sure how much spam/noise this would generate in the Global tab)
  • Add a filter for those who don’t want to see it.

Suggestion: Can those tiles be a slightly different color? I personally suspect I’d miss it in the sea of books. I’ll also say (as a data point) I don’t think I ever check the ‘me’ tab but I do routinely look at the ‘following’ tab.
