Does anyone own a copy of そうなんだ!日本の歴史のお話 古代~室町時代編 | L22?? and could take a pic of a page or two? The sample on Amazon seems to be the frame story, but I’m hoping to see what the actual history portion is like, to see whether it’s actually want to read it

Thx - that was very helpful!! The writing style seems enjoyable enough from the excerpts to sway my opinion (favorably). Foldouts are great too. Makes me want a physical copy

I picked up both of them, but haven’t read either yet. They did seem pretty decent though and I liked the fact that the pull out for each book shows a continuous timeline between them from what I could tell.

I guess since I nominated it I should offer to run the thread(s) for it, though if anybody else is enthusiastic about doing that I’m totally happy for somebody else to take that on
(I bought this recently and forgot that this was on the nomination list until I was about 75 pages in, but I expect I’ll reread that part…)
