싸움독학 시리즈 | L26, a webtoon. No magic, just regular Earth, but very action packed, and you see the MC progressively learning how to fight and getting stronger. Highschool setting.
외모지상주의 시리즈 | L27, a webtoon. Same studio as the previous one, still regular Earth, but with some strange things going on with the MC having two bodies. Again lots of fighting, but also a commentary on how appearance can change the way people are treated. Highschool setting.
튜토리얼이 너무 어렵다, both a webnovel and a webtoon. Somehow I can’t find it on Natively, but anyway, it’s still one of my favorites. Technically on Earth, but really it’s inside the tutorial. Features magic naturally, and lots of fighting!
신의 탑 시리즈 | L30, a webtoon. Full fantasy world, magic, and again, very much action packed.
약한 영웅 1 | L26, a webtoon. Regular Earth, lots of action, and the MC has a very… interesting fighting style, you’ll see. There’s also a kdrama based on it that’s quite nice. Highschool setting
I’ve actually heard a lot about 나 혼자만 레벨업, especially the webtoon version, but I haven’t started it yet. The dungeon and portal concept sounds really interesting.
싸움독학 and 약한 영웅 also look like something I’d enjoy since I like action stories where the MC gradually gets stronger. The high school fighting theme seems pretty intense.
I’m also curious about 신의 탑 because many people say the world-building is amazing.
Out of these, which one would you recommend starting with if someone wants the most action from the beginning?
Both 나 혼자만 레벨업 and 싸움독자 have action from the very start. With 나 혼자만 레벨업 the action is guaranteed because the main character is a hunter, so fighting is quite literally his job. And for 싸움독자, the main protagonist keeps getting into fights.
For 약한 영웅, there’s a bit of buildup before it gets there, and for 신의 탑 there’s a bit of world building. Both are still action packed, but not from the very start.
