I’d love an option to sort various lists and collections by release date. For works of a single series, the series view is generally fine, but if an author I like has multiple books that aren’t connected, I might still be interested in reading them in release order just to see how their ideas grow, or if one franchise has multiple series that count as different series, it can be useful to just view everything in order. For example, I recently grabbed a couple memoirs and studies by Dr. Kawashima of Brain Age fame, and I’d love to see how his findings and studies actually progressed as time went on.
