In this case, carbohydrates (aka carbs) does make more sense though since that’s a source of energy (which is why they say it’s necessary for coming up with ideas), even if it is just because they’re trying to trick her.
I found this site on it. There appear to be multiple forms of it, some you need to buy something for, some you can just apply for. I assume what she’s applying for is the latter and that she has to send in postcards to do so. That would be the 切手代.
It’s a relatively low cost hobby with a chance of high return if you get lucky. With the debuffs their family is under its not going to happen though. 
I’m not sure; it might be a reference to this tv show, ガイアの夜明け… It’s existed since 2002 so should be popular enough to be referenced. Apparently it’s a documentary style series about normal people working hard to make it.
I think that’s right and it’s just お収め, which seems like a nice jumble of politeness with やがれ and です. Probably no one but flustered Shamiko would say that in that panel, right? 
Page 48, 2nd&3rd on the right. Love how she’s not even taking good notes for her mom. There’s so many mistakes in there! 
Honestly it’s the little details like this that I enjoy the most.

First chapter this week was cute. Probably won’t get to the second chapter until Thursday though.
I think I won’t get to this week’s reading before next… It’s nestled very comfortably in my book trunk and I don’t want to repack.

By the way, how many volumes did you buy?
Just the one; I’ve been looking in all the book offs I went to (and will keep looking) but I’ve never seen it. There’s some other series I’m also not having any luck with it. Maybe I’m just not very good at searching in the manga and ln sections.

I looked up the contents a little. I also have found full Chinese text, not sure about translations into other languages. (Haven’t read yet, though.)
What Ryou got is a USB Toy Camera. Saying “Toy”, TIL it can really take photos. (I thought simply USB stick, seriously

I just caught up to this week as well. In chapter 9, I really love the USB/USA joke for some reason. It’s one that I’ve remembered since I first read the manga.

I’m still catching up since I’ve been doing non-manga things lately. Once I catch up I’ll check back in and see if anyone wants to keep reading on a schedule or have an unscheduled discussion thread.
I’m super late, I finished chapter 6 yesterday.
5 and 6 were cute. To catch up quickly I a bit rushed when reading, I’ll try to continue slower. I still plan to finish it this week or so.
For now I want more of character development (which was in chapter 6), let’s see how it goes!
