Spoilers should always be hidden using spoiler blur.
When discussing a specific section, please mention where you are in the book, ideally by chapter, so people reading different versions have a clear point of reference.
Feel free to read ahead if it’s exciting, but please refrain from spoiling ahead of the appropriate week.
If you have a question about grammar, vocab, cultural things, etc - ask! That’s a welcome part of the discussion too, and other readers will be happy to help.
I confess to reading a bit ahead (I finished the book during the readathon), and I’m outraged that the special here was better than the solid last 30% of the actual book.
We’re back to the ideas of rebuilding the country, working against nobles that don’t want to listen and all of that fun that was basically abandoned back home when Mia went to the Academy.
I want more of thisssssss. I want to see it work outttt. Where is my famine and pandemic and whatever other disaster that is upcoming and will make nobles eat their words?
I want this and not sandwiches for boys
So I got very lost during the bonus story on the Perushian Country. Once I got what was going with, it became the usual funny situation.
Had to re-read while translating lots of parts. It kinds of scares me to continue, but I’ll try at least the next Junior Books.
The Diary entries were a fun read, I wish there was more of them. Maybe in the future?
Also as a side note, the Junior book doesn’t have an atogaki, but since I was reading along the audiobook, I had a listen to it. They had a fun play as a preview for the next volume with headphones during it.
Totally agree, hope to see more on Vol 2 (Vol 3 for Junior).
