I enjoyed this week’s chapter. I felt like we got back on track with moving forward with the story.
I liked the opening scene. Jaguar with his mind opened to new horizons able to travel in spirit to connect with his mother.
But I particularly enjoyed the exploration of the cave and the tunnels, the magical creatures, and the discovery of the city of (fool’s) gold. Looking forward to next week’s chapter.
I finished this chapter several days ago than totally forgot to report back with my thoughts!
I had more trouble listening to this one than the last, though I caught the general gist fine. A lot of the details of the trip and then the cave portion were totally lost on me because I didn’t really have the vocabulary to understand all of the descriptions, though weirdly enough I understood just fine the distinction the book made between Western-style and Eastern-style dragons. My elementary/middle school special interest transcends language barriers lol
