Things are heating up :eyes:

What crime did Masaki commit? Who smacked the butler (I still think it could be masked man and Yurie acting in concert - there wasn’t much to indicate he was surprised or scared to find the butler in the position he was in, just annoyance at his own body’s limitations). I also still very much feel like Masaki killed Furokawa in some kind of plot with Yurie because she’s the one who keeps conveniently seeing people outside.
We also still haven’t gotten to the doctor and Yurie having their little late night “picture viewing” in her room.
Curious who opened the masked man’s study door. I think it’s either the doctor (Mitamura? I am blanking on names) or Shimada. The doctor is up to something but it could just be as simple as lust :person_shrugging:

My trip is over, so now I just have to catch up with all the book clubs I’m in.

That’s what I’d like to know. I wonder if it has something to do with why he was killed?

And why does 由里絵 allegedly keep seeing people outside? Does she have nothing better to do than stare outside all the time? She should really be asleep at this hour. If this book ends and it turns out she was innocent all along I will be so shocked. It has been a while since I’ve been this suspicious of a character in a novel.
