Well I know what I’m binging while catching up on paperwork this week ![]()
I just finished this and it was so adorable! I need to continue reading the webtoon for more cuteness. ![]()
What am I doing here? I’m not learning Korean!
Anyway, I just saw the Korean film The King’s Warden, which was neat. It’s a historical film about a young king who was overthrown and exiled. If you happen to be near a theater showing it I’d recommend checking it out.
It’s funny how my knowledge of Japanese (and knowing that the grammatical structures are similar to Korean) let me pick out a couple things from the dialogue.
- The sentence ending with “ka” seemed to formulate a question just like the Japanese “ka”.
- The sentence ending with “sumida” seemed to indicate politeness like the Japanese “desu”. (A google search indicated it might be even more polite/formal though?)
I understand that those aren’t the actual transliterations, but I don’t know Korean phonetics, so that’s just how they sounded to me. Still, it was cool that I managed to pick up on them at all.
Wanna One Go S4 | L24!!! It’s finally back!

I’ve been watching it on the Mnet Plus website - you can watch lots of their shows internationally for free, you just have to sign up. Useful if you enjoy kpop shows! ![]()
I only started watching for 박지훈, but it’s surprisingly enjoyable. Usually I wouldn’t be interested in a show about the military, cooking, or video games, nevermind all of them together, but it’s been fun(ny) so far! ![]()
I just started watching 연애실험실, and I’m liking it so far. Theres’s only 2 episodes out so it’s ongoing. It’s a dating show that has an interesting dating premise each couple episodes. The first two episodes the couple has to date in bed. The language is pretty accessible too.
