According to the internets, it’s on DMM TV, Hulu, Amazon prime, and Tsutaya Discas.
Not sure about subtitles, but I assume all platforms have them? At least for hearing impaired people.

If it’s on Hulu, I’m not seeing it (just the anime). I did find it on Tsutaya (DVD) and DMM TV tho. DMM says it doesn’t have subs (字幕なし). Thanks!
Can I ask how you looked that up? I’d normally check JustWatch, but that only shows the anime

I just googled the title + ドラマ どこで見られる which usually returns some pages with a list of platforms. Those pages are usually full of ads for said platforms, so they are a bit annoying to navigate, but whatever.
I am seeing it, so it might be an area problem? Here’s the link, just in case:

Ahhh yeah, it’s cuz I’m in the US. hulu.jp doesn’t allow access via VPN apparently either.

Sadly, the ads are baked into the site as text. Like, the article will go “you can watch it on DMM TV” then followed by 5 paragraphs telling you how great DMM TV is, plus a link to register. Then it will mention that you can also watch it on Hulu, followed, again, by 5 paragraphs of praises and a registration link. Rince and repeat.
Some sites have a convenient list at the end, but not always. So, just scroll.

Oh nice, they’ve made more! I guess I saw the first one before it was serialized. Thanks for the reminder. This should really be like a real format; they are so well done! I guess it’s pretty expensive, though… Hard to do a whole series.

Yeah, there’s lots of voice comics out there, Shounen Jump especially does them, but I’ve never seen a complete series. Sometimes there’s a solid amount tho. Such a great resource for learning!

Before the poll I was avoiding 宇宙兄弟 a little bit because I didn’t know much about it and felt like it was going to be harder to get into based on the first few pages. Well, I finished the first volume and turned out to be probably my favorite thing I’ve read recently! And then I read ホリミヤ too. So thanks everybody 
Maybe I’ll finish off the Magic Tree House book too for good measure. Or maybe I should start reading 木洩れ日に泳ぐ魚 early… I’ve kind of been hoping it would go on sale though.

Exactly - and a very effective one at that! (at least on me). Especially if there’s a VA I already know & like (e.g. Haruka Tomatsu, Nobunaga Shimazaki, etc), as I will now forever read that character with their voice in my head.

I thought this was going to be a hydrogen bomb vs. coughing baby type situation so I was surprised that 人間失格 actually came last, at least when I voted on this.

The show is why I know about the book. I absolutely adored the show. I still watch it here and there, but I would like to read the book finally.

I guess it really depends on people. 人間失格 is super depressing, especially when you know it is semi-autobiographical (that is, in part inspired by the actual life of the author). That book literally impacted my mental health for like a week after finishing it. In terms of writing, it is of course a masterpiece, but boi…
I don’t know about either of the other books, but I did like かがみの孤城, so I voted for the book from the same author.

I read the first chapter when I bought it awhile back. I could tell its one of those “You’re in head of a crazy person” vibe. I am reading the newest 青春ブタ volume now, so it might be a bit of a whiplash. I am thinking maybe I should do in order of difficulty.
