Not sure what to answer for that one. I try to read books originally written in my target language, but there are several exceptions. These include bookclub books (particularly for the multilingual bookclubs), and a couple staples that I’ve read in my native language (ie Harry Potter and certain Roald Dahl books).

I’m planning on learning Japanese, along with Polish and potentially Dutch.

The thing with Polish is, it is known to be a very difficult language to learn. So I might just start with another language first, like Romanian, which should be a lot easier as it is both close to latin and Slavic languages.

I’ve only ever seen the 2015ish Godzilla where they take out San Francisco and the early movies on Mystery Science Theater 3000 :sweat_smile:
