if not it’s actually not too bad, since originally I’m more chill from the 25th+ so it’ll be a week difference if we say that voting will take a week? if it’ll take less then I can try asking someone who voted for the winner or the one who nominated it so no pressure okay? :kissing_heart:

There are waaaaaay too many good options this time around. So hard to vote!! I might end up changing some of mine after a bit. No chance we could up the max votes to 7, now that we have 19 books?

There is a manga adaptation 〆切前には百合が捗る | L25 - tho I have no idea if it’s any good / would really capture what makes the books special. Maybe I should try reading it one of these days…

considering that the cooldown period is only one cycle and that we have 5 votes (which is kinda a lot regardless if out of 7 or out of 20, cause either it’s a majority or 1/4), unless we have 5 winners (which I doubt will ever happen but feel free to conspire against me :joy:) I see no reason to add to the votes, and in fact quite the opposite.
In my eyes it’s doing its job as a measure to make sure that the next cycle won’t be overcrowded and that people will vote for things they want to preserve and not just for the winner (the cooldown has 4 things and things you can re-add 8 so it’s already 12 potential nominations in the next cycle, regardless of things preserved)

I probably won’t vote this time around simply because I’ve been so busy, but if the winner looks interesting I’ll try to participate!

I’m only voting for books I already have and won’t be tempted by new books this time around for similar reasons.

(Altho I did notice that one of the nominations that I don’t have is on Kindle unlimited, so I could get pulled in by that too…)
