Once again, I apologize for the massive delay in posting this. My WiFi went out and I didn’t have time to resolve that issue before the holidays, so my house was without wifi for a week until today. That, and I was busy crocheting a gift for my niece for her birthday. Anyway, I’m definitely behind so I’m setting aside time tomorrow to get caught back up on last week and this week.

Sorry again! I’m also going to go ahead and post next week’s thread, as well.

Just finished the first part of vol.2
I think the only 2 interesting things in this part are

1- why is he not allowed to take off his gloves? ← I read it before but i forget the reason.
2- unlike Sumeragi family (we have grandmother, and twins and many more for sure), the Sakurazuka is only one person.

I’m not sure the reason has been revealed yet. In the previous volume, I think Subaru just mentioned something about always wearing gloves and Hokuto made a joke about having to organize his outfits around the gloves.

All I can say about this half of the volume is I liked meeting Granny Sumeragi. I didn’t really like Hokuto’s weird comment about sexual assault but whatever. Who’s surprised…

Catching up on this; since we’re so close to the end of volume 1 club-time-wise, I’ll likely zoom through unless I have particular observations.

  1. It was surprisingly cute to see fax written as FAX in the dialogue, haha.

  2. I really liked Subaru’s meeting with his grandmother; I’d like to see more of her.

Oh, I didn’t catch that here. I thought grandma was just saying the family in general was bad.
