I remember there being a channel for that on their discord (Contact us – jpdb) but it seems like they just don’t do content updates at the moment or something.
At this time there are no current contributor activities ongoing nor any active contributors. Until that changes and regular updates begin again we are closing further content requests
I have been considering a programming project to parse texts for myself (without having to go through a site to do that for me). Not sure if it would overlap with your need, but if so it could help to light a fire under my butt to figure it out.
If you have a text file of all the words, you can make a community list on renshuu. You can let the system pick the first definition or manually match them. Then anyone can srs them
Yeah and I’ve messaged him a bit, lol. Most (all?) of his tech is documented on WK so it’s just a matter of piecing most/all of what he’s done for my own purposes.
The problem is the text file I have is incorrect enough to need manual intervention and checking on my part, which is too time-consuming. :S I need to see if there are other parsers out there to compare against.
So, as I was checking my library, I came across a message I had never seen before on Booklive:
販売を終了しておりますが、閲覧できます
Like, they literally stopped selling this book on Booklive
It seems to be gone from Bookwalker as well. It’s still on Amazon and CMOA, though.
I can still read it (if I wanted to, which, at this point, I don’t) so I don’t feel bad about the situation, but I’d love to know what happened.
It begins again~ I just found out yesterday via random tweet that a traditional Chinese version of F&B exists, so I guess that’s my next project to hunt down. No clue where to source it, so hopefully it’s easily findable… The tweet included the series’ name, at least, which will help tremendously.

(The Taiwanese versions are the horizontal blue and white books stacked on top.)
In other news, in light of the なつきxラビッツ club, it feels like a good case to put a cutoff on the number of manga volumes we read in a single series at once. 2 volumes has worked really well for past series, but 4+ feels iffier unless we have a much more sped-up schedule imo, regardless of number of participants.
As one of the ones who dropped out in book 1 (), I don’t think we should necessarily limit it to 2, but I think those next 2 books should have to go through the full voting process as a next read. Like I would have read 20 volumes of 僕らの食卓 with the club if they existed but it does clog up the next books for a long time.
It is and I’m definitely back and can run こいものがたり unless someone else wants to (not expecting any takers, but on the off chance that it’s someone’s favorite manga or something…).
Anyway I’ll get a home thread set up this weekend and start some polls
