I graded this book (きたきた捕物帖 | L31), and it lists “Gradings: 8” at the bottom of my review (and if you click on the “8” it lists them all). So why does it say “0 gradings” in the overall list of gradings below that?

Sometimes gradings take up to one day to be used and turned into a “level“, no idea when and why, though. Edit: The system also hasn’t acknowledged yet that you finished the book.

Does the sync feature work? Has anyone tried syncing recently? Also, the volumes I requested months ago still haven’t been added. Fingers crossed they show up before the new year so I can finally see them on my stats page.

There is something of a workaround for requested-but-not-yet-approved books: if you go to the add book page and submit the same Amazon URL again, you’ll get an error saying that the book already exists. Click the link it gives you and you’ll be taken to the book page, which for all intents and purposes exists, but is just hidden, and you can use it like a regular book. (Note that I’m not sure if full series will be populated this way, or just the first book.)

I’ve actually used that workaround before for BL series that I knew wouldn’t get approved. I had to add the other volumes manually one by one. I feel a bit bad doing that backdoor method for mainstream series, which is why I’ve been waiting, but if nothing changes soon, I’ll probably end up doing it.

Idk that you should feel bad about it. I would just include a link to the Amazon series page, when you add it. When they eventually approve the book, it should get incorporated into the series.

At least for me, the episode count of ongoing series have gotten off again. And if a grading changes on a show I’m watching or a book I’ve read after I grade it, it’s not being reflected on my profile page. (Or whatever that page is called when you click on the natively logo and it shows all your activity.)

I just added some reviews and they’re not showing up in the dashboard feed or the book info details. And my dashboard feed isn’t showing any reviews since 2025-11-16, from anyone. I’d thought it was just a quiet period, but now I’m wondering if there’s a technical issue with reviews.

@brandon There’s been a longstanding issue where tags aren’t syncing up a series as new volumes get added, specifically for list filtering. For example, ご注文はうさぎですか? 13 | L24 is tagged as 4-koma (because the series is), but when I filter my list by 4-koma tag, it’s not shown.

Might have to use this to try and force a page to add new volumes as it doesn’t have a sync button for some reason. Will give it a go
/edit it didnt work so now there’s a new volume/series book thingy for a single volume. oh well!

Having done that with 私の心はおじさんである | L30?? I can tell you that you end up with a situation where both the previous series AND a new identical series with the extra volumes coexist on the database.
So there’s 私の心はおじさんである | L30?? as well. It’s perfectly identical to the other one (even has the same amazon link, which shouldn’t be allowed by the system) but is distinct for Natively…
I guess that’s a way to add re-reads haha.

How long do syncs usually take? The popup said 1 hour but it has been quite a bit longer but ブラック・ブラック・ロータス | L21 has not synced.
edit: it is synced now.
